First of all, I hate the term Life Coach. There are so many aspects of life, calling us Life Coaches is just too broad. Which is why I prefer the term Lucid Coach to describe myself. Because as the term implies, I help you become “Lucid” in your day to day life, so that in every moment possible you are aware of what is going on with YOU in the situations you are faced with. With coaching, you will be given the tools you need to navigate your challenges to your best advantage. It is in the every day moments, the little things minute by minute, where your greatest advances will be made. After all,

You may be interested in getting coached but you’re not sure yet if it’s worth your time and money. I get it. I’ve been there. Maybe it’s not. Maybe it is. You won’t know until you try. All I can tell you is that before I got coached myself, I was far from being lucid in my everyday life. Everything was usually clouded by some sort of mind chatter, frustration and anxiety. Sure, I would talk to my spouse, friends and relatives about my problems, but they weren’t skilled at helping me work through my challenges. They didn’t take specific coursework to help me understand what was going on in my brain to bring clarity to my confusion or dissatisfaction in any area. They would either respond with some well-intentioned advice or just listen, with the latter being the most effective.
But to really catapult my thinking. To really make clear my personal goals and gain actionable next steps to achieve them, I needed an expert and it wasn’t a therapist. About ten years ago I had ten sessions with my first Life Coach and she helped me put myself on the right path. Ever since then, I’ve enlisted the help of Life Coaches, to keep me reaching that next attainable goal I’ve set for myself. So, if you want to continue to spin in the same circles with your challenges that you have for all these years, then continue to seek out the advice and ears as you always have. Now, to take your dreams to entirely the next level and take measurable steps towards your goals, get an expert involved. Life Coaches help you see things from an entirely new perspective….
“You can’t solve a problem with the same mind that created it.” – Albert Einstein
I’m not saying it’s easy. Life Coaches are direct by trade. We are taught to be inquisitive, observant and insightful. Being direct comes with the territory. When I get into conversations with my friends and family, I switch the coach in me to the “off” position. If someone hasn’t hired me to coach them, I’m not going to assume they want coaching and start rattling off coaching jargon. It’s not conversational, rather it is a process of dismantling and reconfiguring, which not everyone is ready for. Coaching must be direct, because you are being called on your “shit” and that shit is what’s been holding you back.
Are you ready to be Lucid?
